Suspended ceilings are popular in commercial properties as they provide a useful space for concealing wires, heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) services and plumbing and wiring services, and other installations that otherwise would be visible.

Metal stud framing is the framework that lays out where partitions within a structure will sit. These partitions define rooms, cubicles, and open spaces, and where items like doors or windows will be positioned. The framing is made up of metal studs that can be placed together to form the initial skeleton of a wall
